Have you ever made the following statement?:

I want to start my own business because its not like a full time job, where I'll be required to expend most of my time and commitment in ensuring that I satisfy my boss

Well, its nice, besides, it looks like a great sentence in writing, appears like a great dream in abstractness, sounds like a fallacy to the hearing in reality and echoes like an unrealistic believe in vision

Come of it, where do you think great and influencial entrepreneurs and business men like Jeff Bezos, Bill Gate, Mark, Dangote and a lot more start from, and how many meetings do you think they attend everyday these days? The trend is that most of them started small and they grew big, they kept pushing, had sleepless nights and showed total commitment, in cash, in kind and in time to one boss; Themselves. Even now, they keep strategizing on how to remain at the top, maintain their standards and reputation and become even broader. A friend of mine at a point said to me "My greatest fear is success" Perhaps he meant "Success Management", how to remain at the top, once you're there.

However, starting your own business is a good idea, especially when you have the right tools at your disposal, but it will be a beating of the wind to think that anyone who would be successful in his own business wouldn't have to be committed to a boss and sell all his time to that boss, when in fact, the only boss you have is you

I have argued over time and I'll keep up the argument that a great stage display, no matter how professionally inclined and highly skilled you are, requires great rehearsals. You don't want to try something new right on stage, you'd have had a great deal of dedicated practice before you shine on stage, this is when you'd have realized that your previously dedicated time to rehearsals and sleepless nights has paid off

. All you have to do is start believing that for a great and promising venture, it requires your total commitment, in cash, in kind and in time. In kind in term of the capital you pulled into it and how you got it. In kind in term of human relation, persistence, perseverance, patience and consistency. Where as, in time in term of the great deal of time you don't want given to another boss, because that boss is now you.
Business and entrepreneurship are full time jobs, but the key word is; once you know its your passion, it troubles your heart and the thought of it gives you sleepless nights, then its your purpose, keep at it
